Backyard Quorum - 2009
For a very long time, I've had requests for "dogs", so I thought I'd try a painting of these loveable critters. There are some strong canine looks to this group, but these are no refined breeds by any stretch. The backyard is a dog's yard, complete with two dog houses and two styles of fencing. A stray squirrel runs cat-like across the back fence, while a tiny cat-face peers out a window next door - maybe a tad jealous of the "friends" outside - an old cronies evening out together.
